La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help. We also provide health care professionals with continuing education opportunities and access to the latest research on lactation management. We offer a continuing series of informal discussion meetings to all women interested in breastfeeding. Children of all ages are welcome. Some meetings focus on specific needs, such as toddlerhood, and dads are invited to many Groups' nighttime meetings.
